Know our speakers:

• Dr. Samuel Chia has been teaching in higher education for more than ten years. He regularly teaches classes related to a variety of New Testament topics and issues, and has served as a lecturer, assistant professor, or adjunct professor at seminaries in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States. In addition to teaching, he has served as a senior pastor of a Chinese church for nine years before moving to Taiwan in 2004. After serving as an adjunct professor for the Chinese Online program at DTS in 2006, Dr. Chia became the Director for Chinese Online Education in 2008. Dr. Chia and his wife have one son.

• Dr. Richard Hon has served for over 19 years in multiple leadership positions with Hong Kong Campus Crusade for Christ and was appointed national director in 2003-2006. Over the past 20 plus years, he has been involved in a number of church planting ministries and was the Lead Pastor of Neighborhood Bible Church for 8 years. For many years, he was actively involved in discipleship, leadership development and conducting Bible seminars. He is currently serving as Christian Education Pastor at New Life Gospel Church. His passion is to equip and develop Christ-centered leaders through systematic Bible–based teaching and mentoring. He has been married for more than 30 years with 3 grown children.
