Our Time in View of Eternity 以永恆的眼光看時間

“My life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus”

~Acts 20:24 (NLT)~

Jesus lived only 33 years but he accomplished the will of God in that short time. As Christians, we need to become more and more like Christ as we mature. Therefore we need to use our time in view of eternity.

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.

~Colossians 4:5 (ESV)~

Our life must be lived in light of eternity, making the best use of our time. Time is our most precious resource. It’s far more important than money. We can always make more money, but we can’t make more time. We can’t borrow time. We can’t extend time. We are all allotted a certain amount of time.

The only thing we can do with time is use it. We all have the same amount of time every week: 168 hours. We need to manage our time wisely. God is watching how we manage our time on earth and our reward in heaven will be determined by how we manage our time on earth.

Satan’s desire is to get us so busy doing unimportant things that we do not have time for the important things in life. Make sure you invest your time in light of eternity. Ask yourself, “How much of what I’m spending my time is going to count five years from now? How much is going to count for eternity?

You have 365 days in front of you in 2021. How will you use your time in view of eternity?
